Joe Phelan aka Alpaca Joe has over 39 years’ experience in financial services (10 years in IT, 23 years in procurement at a senior level and 6 years in pensions). Joe always had a desire to set up his own business and when 3 of his 4 kids left home it triggered a change of thinking.

Joe is a ‘mature entrepreneur’ with a strength of identifying and finding value and converting that value into reality.

With 90 acres, 100 alpacas, 13 staff, a Farm Shop and 7 Self-catering Cottages the business has grown from ground zero and continues to grow every year.
