Roger G. Baldwin is professor emeritus of Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University.  His scholarly work focuses predominantly on academic career development, including the later stages of academic life and the transition into retirement. He edited the New Directions for Higher Education monograph, Reinventing Academic Retirement.  Baldwin is a member of the AROHE Board and immediate past president of the Michigan State University Retirees Association.
